Search engines find and revisit pages over time, so a new site takes a while to settle. Accurate hours, services and contact details, on your site and your Google Business Profile, matter more than any trick. Google controls profile eligibility and verification. The technology, in plain words

Custom builds use Astro: fast pages with very little to maintain. Platform builds run on the platform that suits you (listed below), which handles hosting and its own updates. A password-protected editor lets you change agreed existing wording.

Keep checkout hosted by the platform and scripts off payment pages. PCI DSS 4.0.1 requirements 6.4.3 and 11.6.1 have applied since 31 March 2025.
Booking & forms
Collect only what you need, protect forms from spam, and explain storage in your privacy policy.
Dashboards & apps
Check permissions on the server, use strong sign-in, and log important events. Broken access control tops the OWASP Top 10:2025.
Accessibility
WCAG 2.2 AA is the benchmark. The European Accessibility Act has applied to many services sold to EU customers since 28 June 2025.
